Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our site, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy your order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

If you are ordering outside the UK we can only accept your payment by credit card.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta and American Express. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are ready to ship and you will not be charged any extra postage for backorder shipments. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet using our Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

All products are sold in GBP sterling. If you are buying from outside the UK your card issuer will convert the amount to your local currency at the current rate of exchange. The inclusion of a Euro value aside the sterling value is for information purposes only.

If you are paying in sterling (GBP) You can also place orders and pay for them by cheque. Orders will be processed and you will be sent the invoice/bill. On receipt of payment we will ship the order.

Shipping And Handling All items are shipped by Royal Mail post. **

At our discretion orders may be sent by recorded delivery.

** Items are usually sent by first class letter post. However, if the weight of the parcel exceeds 1Kg we will, again at our discretion, send the goods by parcel post which can take a few days longer to reach you.

All other destinations will be charged £14.99 and will be sent by small air mail packet. Items posted will at our discretion be sent RECORDED.

We reserve the right to refuse orders if the product is fragile and we cannot guarantee safe delivery by post.
Delivery Schedule Our stock levels are usually 85 - 95%. However should an item be out of stock we can usually obtain the product for you within 5 to 7 working days . If the product cannot be obtained within 7 working days you will be informed and given the opportunity to cancel or choose an alternative.

Items that are in stock are shipped ASAP - often the same day if the order is received before 2pm.

Most orders are received the next day. However, please allow 7 working days for delivery and during the Christmas period from 10th December through to the 10th January orders can be delayed.

As an online retailer we are open 24/7. Our delivery schedule is governed by the post office who are open 5 1/2 days a week. Please consider Public Holiday closing.

International orders are generally received in 7 - 9 days.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. We will email you if this situation arises and give you the option to cancel or choose an alternative. Remember, your credit card is not debited until your order is ready to dispatch.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added to the price. The price you see against a product is inclusive of VAT @ 17.5%
Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using SSL (secure Socket Layer) technology. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee At the Castletown Health Store (health-store.co.uk) we only believe in stocking the best and because of our high standards we are able to guarantee your total satisfaction. All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarantee. If you have purchased something that does not come up to your expectations, you can return it to us and we will either exchange the product or refund your money. Please contact our sales team first. Depending on the circumstances we may send you a S.A.E. to return goods.

If you decide you do not require an item we will gladly refund you - provided the item is returned to us within 60 days, un-opened. Postage and packing for these returns will be at your own cost.

We reserve the right to adjust prices after an order has been placed - You will be notified by email before the order is processed.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Returns Policy As long as you have your proof of purchase and your item is in its original, complete condition you are entitled to a full refund. However, if you have lost your proof of purchase or it was a gift we will exchange your product or offer a gift voucher. Faulty goods can be returned and fully refunded with no receipt. In all cases, we cannot accept returned goods for refund or replacement if they are returned more than one year after the date of purchase.
