Activ-Vite is a development from the research carried out by Professor Milan Adam, a world authority and professor of Rheumatology at the University of Prague Hospital. His work continues together with significant research projects sponsored by DGF Stoess AG, the worlds leading supplier of collagen. In the Czech Republic and in other European countries thousands of people already regularly use a collagen enriched health food supplement.

Collagen is one of natures most naturally occurring substances, and is present in the joints, cartilage and connective tissue. To produce collagen hydrolysate, food grade gelatine is hydrolysed by special enzymes to produce a combination of amino acids. Professor Adam published the results of his trails and double-blind studies on the use of collagen in 1991.
